Crane Elementary School is seeking internal applicants for a Title I Instructional Paraprofessional position for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position will primarily support elementary students in reading through small group instruction and targeted academic interventions under the direction of certified staff. The paraprofessional will work closely with the Title I teacher and classroom teachers to implement reading and intervention plans, support student progress, and assist with data collection.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional support skills, the ability to work with small groups of students, and consistency in following structured intervention programs. This position requires the ability to build positive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for engagement and learning.

Applicants must meet paraprofessional requirements, including one of the following: 60 college hours, completion of the 20-hour DESE substitute training, holding a substitute certificate, or passing the paraprofessional assessment.

Final placement will be determined based on student needs and district priorities.
