Crane R-3 Elementary is accepting applications for a full-time, elementary (1st-6th grade) teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. Highly qualified educators who share our passion for welcoming students with open hearts, building relationships, promoting a positive learning environment, and leading students to their strengths are encouraged to apply. The appropriate applicant should enjoy spending time with children of all ages, love learning and teaching, maintain a high degree of good character, exude effective organizational skills, and be a collaborative team-player. Individuals who would like the chance to join our Pirate family should:

- have experience/knowledge with Missouri Learning Standards

- have knowledge in teaching reading, math, and other core subjects

- maintain open communication with all stakeholders

- collaborate with peers, grade-level teams, committees, and vertical teams

- hold appropriate certification of a Missouri Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education or Middle School Education. 

Crane R-3 operates on a four-day school calendar (Tuesday-Friday) with one Monday a month designated as a staff professional learning day. The District provides $450 paid towards health insurance and board-paid long-term disability insurance. Crane also provides partial graduate education reimbursement for approved graduate programs.
